Welcome to the Uganda Book of records the only true reliable and accurate Uganda records compilation. The Uganda Book of Records begun in 2004 as a private company recording all sorts of records held by Ugandans.

The Uganda Book of Records Ltd had an idea of publishing a book containing all Uganda records for the public and with years of hard work and thoroughly research plus assessments, we decided the book was ready to reach the production line and hit the book stores and libraries near you.

Everyone is invited to have his achievement recognized by the Uganda Book of Records. This goes to all Ugandans who have achieved in various areas from sports, political and all social achievements.

What does it take to break or set a record?
You don't have to wait for a records event to attempt your record. Any one can attempt his record breaking discipline of his choice at his/her own choosing both conventional and unconventional.
It can be a team event, solo effort, endurance etc. For instance one can try the highest jump on a mortal bike and another group can attempt the largest team of martial arts kicking simultaneously.
All you have to do is contact the Uganda Book of Records to verify your record as all we need is to ascertain that all is right according to numbers and film the event.
It can be a corporate organization attempting a record of their own through advertising or something of any sort perhaps a charity event.

Who can own a Uganda Record?

Well, we have received many questions from all over the world as our readers wonder how one can own a Uganda record and whether a non Ugandan can have his achievement recognized by the Uganda Book of Records and have them entered in this book. Well, the answer is all Ugandans can have there records and achievements recognized and entered in the Uganda Book of Records however, non Ugandan from all over the world can have there achievements recognized and entered in the Uganda book of Records provided they set these records on Ugandan soil.
Such cases have been recognized for instance former American President Bill Clinton owns the record for being the first seating American President to Visit Uganda. Pope John Paul IIowns the record for being the most traveled Pope and conducted more masses in Uganda.
We also have cases from the X-Games records set in Uganda by Europeans, Americans and South Africans recognized as Ugandans are yet to master the Ex-Games thus virtually all participants come from outside Uganda in the name of attempting a Uganda record. They can be non Ugandan playing football or basketball in Uganda and set a sports record.
